archetype principles

Found / Inside the interstitial urban field, after successively and disjoined uses of land, the project intends to re imprint principles. Archetypes are the image of the place over the untouched soil, where the premises are leaving the archetype visible, its tail is happening bellow.

The ability to transform at the same time the materials in land, and the land in those materials, an animal covered with sand here is an animal transporting the concept with it. When we see the house underneath the street level, we insist to maintain the house invisible. Material is the place itself, land architecture. The idea of entering in the house by its surface most recognizable: the archetype is a common language in architecture.

In between ages, along floors, behind doors, interpreting the past in a renewed present, and hiding the future, below the first plan.

The wood panels cover the house, bringing the possibility to close it all ... on light. The voids in between the wood tabs, bring the light inside - verticality turned into bright oblique plans. A dialogue with the horizontal landscape.

The way a house is saved in our mind, is a metaphor: a house is an image conceived in our head. An image that we draw, after we inhabit it. And we need to keep finding that image (...) in the city, in the landscape...lost in arid fields...cultivating a timeless past.

A timeless Way of Building.

It’s the reflection process. Mirror dialogue. North and south. A memory general archive.
Sometimes...the house should be this element that anyone can recognize. (Universal language)
